MVA to help cover funeral costs of bus crash victims

THE Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVA) dealt with eight serious road accidents over the festive season, in which 25 people died.The Fund could only accept liability in two of these cases, as the rest did not satisfy the legal requirements, the CEO of the Fund, Jerry Muadinohamba, said at Walvis Bay yesterday.

He requested the family members of those who died in the bus accident near Okahandja on Monday to identify the deceased at the Police Mortuary in Windhoek.
