MUSIC producer and recording artist Nalimanguluke Ndengu, popularly known as Mnali Makhazola, has released his eighth studio album, ‘Pasop Vir Die Hond’, which means be careful of the dog.
According to the northern-based producer, the song promotes unity and encourages people to be alert, and aware of their surroundings.
On the album, Makhazola teamed up with fellow musician Boromeus Nehale aka Boro, to add a different element.
The album, produced and mixed under Elly Moo Production at Ondangwa, consists of 20 tracks, featuring different artists like Mr Glo, Kuku Nkandanga, Exit, The Vocalist, GB, Dama Monique, Zack, and Elton.
It also features genres like kwaito, Afro-pop, and house.
According to Makhazola, all songs on the album are hits, and it’s up to fans to choose their favourites.
“The album contains strong content about life skills. It’s like a movie based on a true story,” says Makhazola.
Makhazola started singing in 2000, when he was just in Grade 6, and joined the music industry in 2004.
“I’m one of the youngest artists that started the Namibian music industry,” he says.
In the future, the singer says he sees himself inspiring future generations, producing and mastering good music for upcoming and well-established artists worldwide.
His album is available at music outlets countrywide, and he says there are plans to shoot music videos for a few tracks early next year.
The album will be launched on Friday at Palam Garden at Oniipa.
