Held as part of the annual Totem expo, the pageant took place in Oshakati and was organised in part by the Oshakati Town Council in collaboration with Kashipu Investment CC. “The main aim of Miss Totem expo is to encourage confidence amongst the young women, to give them an opportunity to learn more about themselves under pressure and also to build meaningful relationships,” Sandro Ithana of Kashipu Investment CC said.
The first and second princess are Saara Shipuata and Rauha Nakatana respectively with Saara Shoopala who walked away with the Miss Photogenic title. The Miss Personality title went to Saara Shipuata. Over N$10 000 in prizes was up for grabs for title winners.
