Minimum wage planned for security industry

THE newly formed Namibia Security Labour Forum (NSLF) has announced that plans are underway to introduce a minimum wage for workers in the security industry in Namibia.

The NSLF signed a memorandum of understanding with the Security Association of Namibia (SAN) and Namibia Transport and Allied Workers Union (Natau) in Windhoek yesterday.
