Metro Namibia opened its third supermarket at Walvis Bay on Wednesday.
The new store at the coast follows the Swakopmund branch and another in Eros, Windhoek, which opened on 30 August and 4 October, respectively.
Reacting to the launch, Metro Namibia’s managing director, Bryan Davis, expressed his enthusiasm for the store, calling it another step towards expanding branches across the country.
“We are beyond proud of the success we’ve seen with our Swakopmund and Eros stores. The positive response from our customers has been overwhelming, and we’re eager to bring that same level of excellence to Walvis Bay. Our new store is designed to provide a fresh, convenient shopping experience, ensuring our customers feel valued from the moment they step inside,” he said at the launch on Wednesday.
Davis noted that the new Metro Walvis Bay Supermarket will continue the trend of offering a modern shopping experience, complete with extended trading hours for greater flexibility and convenience. The store will provide a wide range of fresh produce and household essentials.
