ONE of Swapo’s founding members, Mburumba Kerina, has rejoined the party after several years with the opposition.
Swapo secretary for information Jerry Ekandjo announced Kerina’s move at a media briefing on Tuesday and presented him with a party membership card.Ekandjo said Swapo was open to every Namibian.Kerina has been around the political block several times, having served as a DTA MP shortly after Independence while also having a short stint with Nudo.He was expelled from Swapo in June 1961 after he announced the formation of the Independence and National Convention Party.
