Mbumba heads to Ghana for Mahama’s inauguration

President Nangolo will attend the inauguration of Ghana’s president-elect, John Mahama, this week.

Mahama, who won the elections in December and defeated president Nana Akufo-Addo, led Ghana from 2012 to 2017.

Mbumba’s office in a press statement issued on Monday said the working visit to Ghana will include bilateral discussions and the inauguration.

“The working visit presents an opportunity to further deepen the strong bilateral and trade relations between Namibia and Ghana,” the statement reads. The president will leave on Monday and return on Thursday.
