President Nangolo Mbumba on Wednesday sent his best wishes to founding president Sam Nujoma.
“I wish to convey a message of strength and goodwill to founding president and father of the Namibian nation, president Sam Nujoma,” said Mbumba.
Mbumba said this during the opening of the Cabinet meeting for 2025 at state house.
Nujoma has been under medical observation at a Windhoek hospital since a week ago.
Labour minister Utoni Nujoma recently called on the nation to keep his father in their prayers.
Utoni was recently interviewed by the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation where he said his father remains in a critical but stable condition while receiving treatment at a local private hospital.
