Former chief executive officer of Erongo’s electricity distributor Fessor Mbango has been appointed as the new head of the Central North Regional Electricity Distributor (Cenored).
Mbango replaces Robert Kahimise, who resigned in March to head the Electricity Control Board.
Confirming the appointment, Cenored spokesperson Charles Matengu said Mbango starts work on Monday.
This is the second time Mbango is succeeding Kahimise.
In 2017, Kahimise stepped down as CEO of the Erongo Regional Electricity Distributor company to assume the same position at the Windhoek City Council.
Last year, Mbango lost a court case in his attempt to have Erongored renew his contract.
