In The Namibian of Thursday, 18 September, a report titled ‘Nandi-Ndaitwah considered me for ministerial job – Venaani’, we erroneously reported that Popular Democratic Movement president McHenry Venaani said he was considered for the position of ambassador by the president. In the same report, however, The Namibian correctly reported that Venaani clarified he was only considered for the position of a minster and was not aware of any ambassadorial position he was being considered for. We regret and apologise for the contradiction and lack of clarity
