A report headlined ‘Meatco accused of failing to provide interns with protective gear’ in yesterday’s edition of The Namibian ended with an incorrect quotation. The last paragraph of the report should state that the Social Security Commission has made available a life-long monthly allowance to former Meatco intern Kaino Paulus, who suffered burn injuries at work in June 2022, and that she has in the meantime been employed by Meatco on a con- tractual basis. The error is regretted.
