ON 21 May 2024, The Namibian published an article titled ‘I want to see the ‘political’ graves of Itula, Venaani here – Nekundi’. We would like to clarify that Nekundi’ said “democratic graves” and not political graves. He also called on Swapo members not to resort to violence as a way to resolve political differences. In this context, he implored Swapo members to instead use democratic means, i.e voting, to deal with the opposition. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
