Matheus wins individual stableford competition

Sakeus Matheus was a comfortable winner of the individual stableford club competition at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club over the weekend.

Matheus finished the competition with a total of 39 points to finish three points ahead of the chasing pack. 

Four golfers finished on 36 points each with Charles Lohmann winning the count-out to come second ahead of Aldo Beukes, Lukas Hamata and Paul Grobler. 

Jayson Zulch came sixth on 35 points, while Raymond van Zyl finished seventh on 34, after beating Cornelis Beuke on a count-out. 

A total of 46 golfers participated in the competition that was sponsored by Dstv. 

This coming weekend the club will host the fourth Windhoek Lager International Pairs qualifying competition.
