Marvelous Maids partners with Quatro Cleaning Services

THE Namibian domestic placement agency Marvelous Maids announced a partnership with Quatro Cleaning Services (QCS) and Omega Risk Solutions in Windhoek last week.

Speaking during the announcement, Quatro Holdings’ chief executive officer, Ian Labuschagne, at an event in Windhoek, said the partnership was necessary.

“Part of our strategy was to join forces with QCS. The idea was to piggyback on their infrastructure so that we don’t have to create our own infrastructure. It would also give piece of mind to current Namibian clients. We are here to create a force to be reckoned with,” said Labuschagne.

QCS is a subsidiary of Quatro Holdings and offers cleaning solutions, such as contract cleaning, window cleaning, pest control and hygiene services, and is based in Windhoek.

Omega Risk Solutions, which has been in existence for over 10 years, offers cost effective risk management solutions and is run by experts in the industry, and is a shareholder in QCS in Namibia.

According to Helen Bosshart, founder of Marvelous Maids and business development executive at QCS, Marvelous Maids is a local company that employs domestic workers to clean houses in and around Windhoek. The company was started in 2016.

“I was asked by the manager of Omega Risk Solutions to partner up and I agreed, as their brand is a strong one. It’s all about our passion to improve lives,” she said.

Bosshart, who previously worked at Broll Namibia as a property manager, confirmed that Marvelous Maids has managed to secure 45 staff in 18 months and services over 200 houses in Windhoek.

“I realised that some of our staff do not have the necessary facilities at home. How can we demand performance if we’re not attending to that? Therefore, we’re hoping to double the staff in the next three years and have at least 100 [domestic workers] working for us,” she said.
