Planning and Organising

By planning and organising your time, you know what to do and when to do it. Utilise pictures and colours on your calendar and daily planners, this will make it easy for you to carry out your goals.

Organising your work space helps you work more effectively as you know where you have placed everything.

Set Goals

By setting goals, you give yourself direction on a daily basis; doing this will help you maintain productivity for the rest of your life. Learning how to set goals is a skill that must be nurtured so start early.

Prioritise

Here you can use the 80/20 rule. This is where you put in 20% of effort and are rewarded 80% as a result of the effort you put in. Here you prioritise that valuable 20% and set time to deal with those items that will offer you great reward.

Use a To Do List

Be Flexible

Time management experts advise on planning only 50% of your time, this will allow you to have leeway for unplanned interruptions and emergencies. When you expect to be disturbed when doing your tasks, make more time to complete your work.
