The police at Keetmanshoop has confirmed the alleged suicide of a 40-year-old man at the town on Saturday.
//Kharas crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Nicodemus Mbango said the deceased was identified as Theofilus Verrooi, and his next of kin have been informed.
Verrooi allegedly took his life between 10h00 and 10h30 on Saturday in the Ileni residential area.
His body was found by his girlfriend’s sister and was taken to the Keetmanshoop state mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Police investigations continue.
