A man (46) allegedly took his life at the Shimpanda village in the Kavango East region on Tuesday.
Police crime investigations coordinator in the region deputy commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu, in Wednesday’s crime report, said the incident happened at around 20h00.
The deceased has been identified as Likuwa Bonifatius Shashova. His next of kin have been informed of his death.
It is alleged that on their return from the farm, Shashova’s family members found the cattle still in the kraal, prompting them to search for him.
One of the family members alerted the others of Shashova’s body in his room.
No suicide note was found at the scene and no foul play is suspected.
The body was transported to the Rundu State Hospital mortuary.
