A 35-year-old man of Mondesa, Swakopmund, was arrested on Monday after he allegedly broke into a shack and raped a minor.
The alleged victim, an 11-year-old girl, was sleeping inside the shack alone.
Her mother was apparently working. The incident took place around 03h00 on Sunday morning.The suspect forced open the shack door and allegedly first ate some food in the kitchen area before raping the girl where she was sleeping.The girl later told her mother what had happened, which led to the suspect being arrested.
