Police in the Omusati region have reported an incident in which a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped while visiting her boyfriend.
The incident happened at Okaandi village in the early hours of Sunday.
According to the police, the victim was invited to her boyfriend’s house and she went to his room where they allegedly had sexual intercourse.
“While there, the elder brother to the boyfriend came into the room and ordered the girl’s boyfriend to leave the room,” reported Omusati police crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Malakia Simaho, adding that the suspect then raped the girl.
Police are yet to arrest the suspect.
