HANOI – A Vietnamese man stabbed his wife to death after an argument over his loss of nearly US$10 000 (about N$63 500) in bets on Euro 2004 soccer matches, state media reported yesterday.
Police in the central city of Vinh, about 300 km south of the capital Hanoi, arrested the 64-year-old man on Thursday and charged him with the murder of his wife.
