Man arrested for cattle theft

A man was arrested for the alleged theft of six cattle at Otjorute, Ruacana, on Friday at around 18h00.

“The suspect allegedly stole one bull, two cows, one heifer and two female Holstein, with a combined value of N$54 600,” reported Omusati region police crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Malakia Simaho.

Simaho said the suspect was arrested and held in custody at the Ruacana police holding cells on separate charges of housebreaking with intent to steal and theft.
