Two of ma|gaisa music’s acts, T-Bozz & Staika and Jaliza, are set to rock Okarundu Campsite this Saturday.
The show serves as an appetiser for the much-awaited ‘Rumble at the Coast’ at Swakopmund in December.
Okarundu Campsite is located in the Otjimbingwe district, about 60km from Karibib in the Erongo region.
Currently rated as the number one ma|gaisa duo by a strong legion of youthful fans, T-Bozz & Staika know exactly how to work a crowd.
Driven by T-Bozz’s superlative lead vocals and Staika’s creative genius as the band’s producer, the duo has taken ma|gaisa music to another level.
Coming from gospel choir backgrounds, the duo is responsible for some of the best harmonies in the ma|gaisa genre.

They may have left the choir, but the gospel spirit remains.
The duo has gospel hits like ‘Kai Elotse Ta Xute Re’ and ‘/Khomxa !Na !Khutse’ that have taken social media by storm.
Exclaims Rambo Somaeb, who is a renowned ma|gaisa fundi: “T-Bozz & Staika are no child’s play. They have redefined the concept of ma|gaisa with their masterful singing prowess. Whether they sing a ma|gaisa hit or a gospel song, they just sound great.”
They are continuing to entertain their fans with songs like ‘Ta //Naetiba Sao’, ‘Nauxube’, ‘Netira Gon’, “//Aegub !Na Uhate’, and the evergreen ‘Sokolate’, which probably remains their biggest hit ever.
The duo has released their new album, ‘Xam-Xam’, which is available on Spotify.
Jaliza, on the other hand, has raised her game to become one of the best stage performers in the country.
Armed with her crystal-clear voice and electrifying dance moves, she is ready to take over from veteran songstress Lettie Nangolo as the queen of ma|gaisa.
The highly energetic songstress has taken Namibia by storm with her hit ‘Ti Tsatara’.
Then follow ‘Lau Lau’ and ‘Sa Kaite’ with Kalux, which has propelled her status as one of the top female ma|gaisa artists, while her latest release, ‘Shadow’, on which she teamed up with Jayden, has the potential to shine her star even brighter.
Booking at Okarundu Campsite gives patrons a free ticket to the show.
