Luggage reclaim system down at Hosea Kutako International Aiport

THE luggage reclaim system at Hosea Kutako International Airport is out of order, causing delays for arriving passengers.

This was confirmed by Namibia Airports Company spokesperson Dan Kamati on Friday.

“Additional staff have been deployed to assist with baggage handling while our technical team is addressing the issue,” he said.

Passengers of flight SA76 from Johannesburg and a flight from Frankfurt, which landed at 17h00, have been waiting for their airport luggage carousels for more than 45 minutes.

The ground handling crew manually had to unload the luggage.
