Message of condolence on the death of Sam Nujoma delivered by Landless People’s Movement spokesperson Lifalaza Simataa on 9 February 2025.
It is with great sincerity that the Landless People’s Movement expresses
their condolences on the passing of Sam Nujoma, the founding
president of the republic of Namibia.
The founding president played a role in the liberation of our country and,
therefore, is part and parcel of the long list of heroes and heroines that
fought for our freedom. He shall forever be in history books among great
names such as the likes of Toivo ya Toivo, Emil Apollus, Mishake Muyongo,
Peter Nanyemba and Hendrik Witbooi.
We wish strength during these difficult times, to his family, Swapo and the Namibian people in general.
