LONDON – Oil falls as Nigeria strike threat eases

Oil prices eased on Friday from record highs after oil unions in OPEC member Nigeria said a two-day wildcat strike would pass without any impact on exports.

US light crude on Friday traded down 67 cents to US$52 (N$343) a barrel after touching US$53 on Thursday.
