London hotels bounce back from bombing

LONDON – London hotels have bounced back quickly from the July bombings, which dented weekend tourist traffic in August but barely touched the flow of business travellers through the capital, hoteliers say.

The world’s largest hotelier, InterContinental, reported first-half results on Thursday, and in doing so became the third major hotel group to highlight the resilience of travellers after four bombers killed themselves and 52 other people on the capital’s public transport system. – Nampa-AFP- Nampa-AFP
