Rising vocalist Javelin Imfusi will on Saturday headline ‘Becoming: Javelin on Mic’, a showcase celebrating her artistic growth and the fans who helped shape her journey.
Saturday evening will feature Javelin performing beloved covers and hymns, with a lineup of local artists joining her on stage at a local hotel in Windhoek.
The name, ‘Becoming Javelin’, reflects the artist’s ongoing journey of evolving, embracing her gifts, and stepping confidently into who she is.
Javelin’s passion for music started in church and choirs, where she developed her confidence and love for singing.
Over the years, she shared her voice with others, with every step helping her grow as an artist.
“To create a platform that inspires transformation, empowers hidden talents, and encourages people to boldly step into who they are becoming is the vision behind the event,” Javelin says.
‘’My sound is rooted in acoustic, contemporary arrangements, offering an intimate and heartfelt listening experience,” she adds.
