Local Sport Briefs Gladiators vs Botswana

WINDHOEK – The Brave Gladiators are out to restore Namibia’s name against Botswana in Gaborone on November 30 in the preliminary round match of the sixth African Women’s Championship, billed for Equatorial Guinea next year.

National team coach Jacqui Shipanga yesterday said Namibia seemed to have a bad track record against the Batswana as the Brave Warriors lost several times, while Namibia’s girls also lost against their eastern neighbours during the Under-17 Confederation of School Sport Associations’ Southern Africa Games earlier this year.
