BERLIN, – The German government wants to limit possibilities for chief executives to move to their companies’ supervisory boards once they have stepped down as CEO, currently a common practice in Germany, a report said Tuesday.

The CDU and its coalition partners, the Social Democrat SPD party, have already reached agreement on the issue, the business daily said in a pre-release of an article that was to be yesterday.
