CELMAH Likondja, the founder of Golden Organic Skin and Hair Care, says she will be working on expanding her cosmetic range this festive season.
The full-time occupational safety and health student says her passion for natural organic products comes from struggling with her own skin and hair.
“I eventually found healing in natural products, and decided to become an aesthetician and product formulator for Golden Organic Skin and Hair Care,” she says.
The newly established skincare company has a variety of products, including night serums, spot removers, face packs, hair-growth products, beard oils, body-glow creams, toners, and aloe vera soaps.
All products are manufactured locally from natural ingredients, such as aloe vera, palm fruit, and rose and marula oil.
Likondja says her products are not tested on animals, are 100% natural, with no harsh chemicals, and are affordable.
“I came up with this to help individuals with problematic skin and hair, as well as those who would love to maintain healthier skin and hair the natural way,” she says.
She says she is currently working on a beauty spa with more natural products, which she is planning to open at Ondangwa.
“We already have products there, and they are currently on demand in the north. I want to launch new baby products too,” Likondja says.
Golden Organic Skin and Hair Care has branches in Windhoek and at Ondangwa.
The enterprise also has agents and brand ambassadors at Okakarara, Oshakati, and Ongwediva, and sells its products on Instagram.
“This festive season, I am planning to expand my business and have beauty spas. I am also planning to start training the young generation on how to formulate natural cosmetics,” Likondja says.
