LETSHEGO Holdings Namibia has appointed Steve Makuchete as the company’s head of channels and payments.
Makuchete, who has more than 14 years of information technology (IT) industry expertise and seven years of banking sector experience, will oversee the creation and execution of the company’s channels and payment strategy in this capacity, according to a statement by Letshego.
Makuchete says his goal is to leverage digital solutions to make banking more accessible and convenient for Letshego’s customers while streamlining their internal processes.
Projects he has led in the past include the implementation of an improved electronic payments transfer system.
“As the new head of channels and payments, Makuchete aims to strengthen Letshego’s core banking systems, enhance customer experiences and contribute to greater operational efficiency,” the company says.
