Prime minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila has been admitted into a hospital at Ongwediva, the Office of the Prime Minister announced on Saturday.
Kuugongelwa-Amadhila was admitted on Friday night.
“She is responding well to treatment and is in good spirits,” said the statement.
