KPI parking marshals suspended

Keyplot Investments (KPI) parking marshals collecting parking fees in Windhoek have been suspended after demanding to be reimbursed by the company for money allegedly deducted unlawfully.

This was confirmed on Wednesday by one of the employees, who opted to remain anonymous due to fear of victimisation.

“They told us yesterday,” said the staff member.

The marshals have stopped working after the company deducted at least N$1 500 from their salaries of N$2 500 per month.

Efforts to contact KPI’s operations manager proved unsuccessful, as calls went unanswered.
This is a developing story.
