‘King of Squats’ brings glutes and grit to Windhoek wellness fest this Saturday

Fitness enthusiasts in the capital are in for a treat, as popular South African aerobics instructor Nkululeko Dlamini, well known as ‘King of Squats’, is set to headline a health and wellness event at Eros Sports Field on Saturday.

Known for his focus on glutes and high-energy workouts, King of Squats has built a reputation for bringing intensity, fun, and purpose to the fitness community. His upcoming appearance in Windhoek is expected to draw scores of fitness lovers and health-conscious Namibians.

Event organiser Salmi Shiguedha says the event is designed to promote healthy lifestyle choices while creating a vibrant community space for physical activity.

“The event aims to empower Namibians to prioritise their health and wellness by fostering a culture of healthy choices,” Shiguedha says.

“It’s about raising awareness on the benefits of staying active.”

Attendees can look forward to a mix of bootcamps, fitness apparel vendors, and special appearances by local trainers, including Atlast Musasa on Saturday.

Shiguedha says the event is made possible through support from Bonaqua.

With tickets priced at N$200 and available at Pick n Pay and PayToday, the organisers hope to attract a broad audience interested in fitness, wellness, and fun.

“We’re event planners who explore different avenues of event planning, and this was one of them,” Shiguedha says.

“Our long-term goal is to grow our brand, drive attendance, and become recognised as sought-after planners in Namibia.”
