In an interview with Nampa on Friday, sister Ndinelao Petrus, who was in charge at the Katutura State Hospital on 25 December, said 22 babies were born.
The smallest was a 1.6kg baby boy who was born at home and later brought to hospital, while the largest baby weighed 3.7kg.
The first delivery was recorded at 01h18 and the last was recorded at 23h08.
Seven births were recorded at Windhoek Central Hospital, five girls and two boys.
