Kavango East Ndonga Linena constituency councillor Anselm Marungu has been appointed deputy minister of environment and tourism, effective Wednesday.
The appointment was made by president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House on Thursday.
He deputises minister Indileni Daniel, who has led the ministry for almost a year.
Marungu will continue to serve as councillor for his constituency.
