Katima water restored

Thousands of visitors and locals at Katima Mulilo, who were left without water since Wednesday morning, can now quench their thirst as water has been restored.

Taps around town ran dry around 10h00, but it was restored at about 19h00.

A message circulating on social media says that NamWater is experiencing a technical problem.

Katima Mulilo is the hosting town of the 34th Independence Day celebrations, which will be held on Thursday.
