Junior Tennis Tournament

THE Namibian Tennis Association (NTA) will host an important junior tennis tournament on Friday and Saturday, which will be sponsored by Trustco.

The two-day event, which gets underway at 14h30 on Friday is expected to attract more than 70 boys and girls from all parts of the country, who will be competing for NTA junior ranking points.

“The Namibian Tennis Association is extremely grateful for the continued support from Trustco. Only through assistance by companies like Trustco will tennis be able to grow and develop and help juniors reach their full potential,” read a statement from the NTA .

Event organisers expect some tough matches in all age groups, starting from under-8 level all the way through to under-18 level.

The match venues for the tournament are the tennis courts of the Central Tennis Club (CTC) in Olympia, Eros and the Police Tennis Courts.

The finals will start at 10h00 on Saturday morning at the Central Tennis Courts in Olympia. The prize giving ceremony is scheduled to start at 14h00 at the same venue.
