It’s Drogba, Essien or Eto’o

THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the top three nominees for the 2006 African Player of the Year Award after a vote by coaches of national associations.

The three players are Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast/Chelsea), Michael Essien (Ghana/Chelsea) and Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon/Barcelona).
