Italy extradites London bomb suspect

ROME – Hamdi Issac, one of four men suspected of carrying out the failed July 21 London bomb attacks, was extradited yesterday from Italy to Britain, where he faced charges of conspiracy to murder and attempted murder.

A plane carrying the 27-year-old Briton of Ethiopian origin, also known as Osman Hussain, left Rome’s Ciampino airport shortly after midday after he was handed over to British police officers at the capital’s Rebibbia prison.
