A man (39) was found lying between the railway lines behind the Mondesa graveyard at Swakopmund in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to the police, a railroad engineer saw a strange object on his way from Swakopmund to Arandis and decided to stop the train to investigate.
“He and his assistant went out to investigate and found a man under the train and they immediately alerted the police,” the report reads.
The man was admitted to the Swakopmund State Hospital and, although he was found to have multiple injuries on both arms, he has been reported to be in a stable condition.
