Indonesians jailed for beheadings

JAKARTA – Three Islamic militants were found guilty yesterday of beheading three Christian girls in central Indonesia and dumping their heads in nearby villages, judges said, handing down prison sentences of 14 to 20 years.

Hasanuddin, who goes by a single name, was sentenced to 20 years for masterminding the 2005 attack on Sulawesi island, buying the machetes and leaving a handwritten note at the scene vowing more killings.
