India to plead with Brazil for football lessons

NEW DELHI – India will seek Brazil’s help to improve football standards in the country, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Tuesday ahead of a state visit to the South American nation.

Singh told reporters on board the flight to Brazil that he will raise the issue of football aid at his summit meeting with President Lula Da Silva, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
