Independent candidate Divai Humphrey has failed to retain the Judea Lyaboloma constituency in the Zambezi region after losing it to the Swapo Party.
Electoral Commission of Namibia chairperson Elsie Nghikembua on Thursday night announced that Humphrey only registered 714 votes losing to Sinalumbu Bafeze, who garnered 1 089 votes.
The Independent Patriots for Change candidate, Musomi Sikunga, got 45 votes, while independent candidate Mukwata Temuso received 406 votes.
National Democratic Party candidate Sifu Crispin managed to collect only 40 votes.
