The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security has extended the deadline for foreign students’ study permit applications from 4 to 8 March.

This was confirmed in a statement the ministry released on Friday.

“We understand the circumstances may vary for each student, and we want to ensure everyone has adequate time to prepare and submit their study permit applications,” the statement reads.

According to the statement, the extension provides students with the time to submit their applications and to ensure the necessary paperwork is completed.

The extension applies to all study permit applications for the current academic term.

“We urge students to utilise this additional time wisely and ensure their applications are submitted by the new deadline to avoid any potential complication or delay,” the statement reads.
