AN illegal immigrant from the Democratic Republic of Congo is receiving treatment in Windhoek after he jumped off an immigration vehicle and sustained head injuries.
Wizana Tatj was being transported from Karasburg to Ariamsvlei in the South, the Police reported on Friday. Police said he had since been brought to Windhoek for treatment.He is reported to be in a stable condition.* The Police also reported that they were searching for 43 goats and 74 Damara sheep reported stolen from the farm of Ernst Christiaan Schnaitman.It is suspected that the theft at farm Schlangkopf in the Karas Region took place between December 2003 and January 2004.The investigation continues.Police said he had since been brought to Windhoek for treatment.
