A 33-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband at Witvlei in the Omaheke Region on Friday, Police reported yesterday.
The woman, identified as Menesia Tlhekwane, died on the spot in Witvlei’s Omataura settlement. Her husband allegedly stabbed her four times in the chest, Police spokesperson Sergeant James Matengu said yesterday.The woman’s 34-year-old husband was arrested at the scene, Matengu added.He is expected to appear in the Gobabis Magistrate’s Court on a charge of murder early this week.Matengu said the fatal incident apparently took place while the couple had a quarrel over an extra-marital affair.This had not yet confirmed been confirmed, he added.Her husband allegedly stabbed her four times in the chest, Police spokesperson Sergeant James Matengu said yesterday.
