Husband accused of beating wife to death

A 50-year-old Ohangwena man allegedly beat his wife to death in what is becoming a recurring trend in domestic violence in Namibia.

Police reports said Julia Shikongo (64) was struck to death by her husband on Saturday evening at Ekoka village in the North.
