The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) has appointed Josefina Simaneka Nekongo as the new manager legal services, compliance, risk and company secretary at.
This was announced in a statement NHE spokesperson Tuafi Shafombabi released on Tuesday.
“My focus will be to provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the department. It is also paramount I liaise with other departments to ensure that the risks have been identified and an appropriate course of action to mitigate the risk has been taken,” Nekongo said.
Nekongo is a University of Namibia law graduate, an admitted legal practitioner of the High Court of Namibia with over nine years work experience.
She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in several business disciplines, specifically labour, corporate, administrative law, corporate governance, compliance management and company secretarial.
She has also served on the boards of three companies in the fishing sector, is a council member of the Law Society of Namibia and board member of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.
