A housebreaking incident was reported by the police at Rehoboth on Wednesday.
Unknown assailants allegedly broke into a house in the Volstruisvlakte residential area at 20h30 and stole money and other household items.
According to a police report on Friday, the suspect(s) stole N$5 500 and various valuable items, including two gas bottles, double bed sheet covers, clothing and food items with an estimated value of around N$14 000.
It is alleged that the suspect(s) used an unidentified object to gain access to the victim’s house.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, nor have stolen items been recovered.
Police investigations into the matter continue.
